Mode: Study material to be sent in Soft and Hard form

Mode of Evaluation: The evaluation is based on cumulative grading of assignments (of 50 points) & online exam (of 50 points) to be held at the end of course.

There will be total 4 assignments for the course. Each assignment would be of 100 marks.

Total 400 marks of assignment would be reduced to the 50 points for the cumulative evaluation.

These assignments are required to be submitted to the Course Coordinator by the scheduled date. Beyond the scheduled date of submission, for up to 10 days delay 10 marks would be deducted from the marks secured out of the total 100 marks, further delay in submission will lead to deduction of 20 marks from the marks secured out of the total 100 marks. Students scoring below C grade will have to submit a 2nd assignment, within next 15 days of the result of the initial assignment for which 10 marks would be deducted from the marks secured out of the total 100 marks. Delayed last assignment should be submitted by 20th of the 3rd month of the course.

If the student fails to submit either 2nd assignment due to a score of grade C or fails to submit any of the assignments by 20th of the 3rd month then student will have to resubmit all the assignments with the next scheduled course alongwith the applicable reappear fee.

The online exam would be conducted from 26th of 3rd month to 30th of 3rd month. Student can chose any day for exam from these five days. The exam will be of 100 marks. These 100 marks would be reduced to the 50 points.

Total Evaluation Marks: 100

Grade system is used for grading the assignments. These letter grades are:

A Excellent 80% and above
B Very good 60% - 80%
C Satisfactory 50% - 60%
D Fail < 50%

Candidates securing 50% and above in all six modules would be eligible to receive the Certificate in Clinical Research.

The password for online Exam would be issued only after the submission of all assignments. The students, who are not eligible/fail in scheduled online exam with their batch, can appear for the exam only with the next session on payment of the applicable reappear fee. Failing to clear even in the 2nd chance will require readmission to the course. There is no provision for reevaluation.
